My son's first birthday is coming up and it got me thinking- What characters does he even know to make a themed party??! It seemed like my daughter was head over heels about Mickey and Minnie, but Roman literally doesn't know anything! :) ... So as we cruised the aisles of Party City with a billion different themes, the only thing he got excited about was... you guessed it - Mickey Mouse! It must be a universal fascination built into every child- Disney love. So Mickey theme it is. I'm having my good girlfriend make me some cupcakes (she's THE BOMB!) so she told me on Pinterest there are a ton of cute Mickey Mouse ideas. Such cute stuff I thought I'd share. Especially if you have twins, I'm seeing some adorable Mickey and Minnie smash cakes. In case you don't know what a smash cake is- it's the little cake you make for your one year old's party, so that when they feed themselves you get that great photograph of a chocolate & icing covered baby. Or if they're a germ-aphobe like my daughter - you smash the cake in THEIR face! :) If you have any other great Mickey ideas - please respond. Can't wait to celebrate!
